B-FREE is coordinated by Oslo Orcas IF in Norway. The consortium brings together a national judo federation, a regional football association, a city sports union, a coaching body, a volunteer association, a research university and a sport technology company.

How it is run

A steering committee and five leads

Each work package has a lead beneficiary accountable for its deliverables, and the coordinator holds overall management. The grant is a lump sum, which means a work package is paid when it is accepted as complete rather than against itemised costs.

A Project Steering Committee oversees implementation, with a Communication Manager seat held by Sport Singularity BV. There is no separate consortium agreement: the Grant Agreement itself governs the partnership.
